Put The Work In
Teamwork To Work
The new management team accepted the assignment to turn
around a financially troubled manufacturing facility. The
General Manager recognized that improving teamwork was a prerequisite
to become profitable. A team building effort was initiated
and guided by their TeamWork Value Statement. The MBC Software®
methodologies were used to both measure progress and to use
data to pin point opportunities for continuous improvement.
Measuring Behavior
Change Saved My Job
Frustration is your best friend®
when used to improve working relationships. Sometimes, this
frustration must be quantified before those responsible for
creating it will accept their responsibility to minimize it. In
this instance, the data opened the responsible managers
eyes to see the need to improve working relationships.
Quantifying these improvements helped keep his job.
The Student Owns
The Company
The CEO hired high performing individuals.
The challenge was to let these high individuals perform. Without
his awareness, the CEO's leadership style was adversely impacting
employees' performance. Once aware of that impact, the CEO
became a successful student of his staff.
Measuring People's
Teamwork Behavior
The Director of a state agency has a
vision to replace the bureaucratic environment, characteristic
of state government, with a self directed team environment
to better serve its consumers. To accomplish this undertaking,
the agency needed a definition of the teamwork performance
standards and a means to measure their implementation.
